Obverse: [ ]; Crowned bust facing, T and vertical key by neck. Reverse: [CIVI/T]AS/[EBO/RACI]; Long cross with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross. Diameter: 15.2mm. A post-Medieval copper-alloy 'S'-shaped 'snake belt' fastener (c. 1550-c.1625). The fastener is decorated on both faces with animal head terminals and with moulded scale-like decoration. At the centre there is a four-knopped moulded collar. The object has a coarse drab greenish grey surface. S-shaped 'snake belt' fasteners were probably associated with sword belts in the 17th and 18th centuries and parallels can be seen in Read's (2008) Hooked-clasps & Eyes: p. 230. A fragment probably from the blade end of a polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (c. 4000 - 2350 BC). The fragment appears to be the corner of the blade end of the axehead, with a diagonal break at the top end of the fragment. A further horizontal break is evident at the base of the fragment. A section of the tapered cutting edge is evident with ground and polished sides. The axehead is made of a fine grained igneous rock, possibly dolerite, and is rough with quartz inclusions. An incomplete and misshapen Medieval copper-alloy spur buckle with an integral plate (c. 1250-c. 1400). The frame is oval in plan and the frame and plate are convex at the front and flat at the rear. At each side of the pin hole there is a small pointed knop. A copper-alloy wire pin is incomplete and misshapen. The plate tapers in width from the frame towards the rectangular terminal which has a projecting hook.
