It is well patinated and in good condition. It is 14.5mm tall, 11.7mm wide and 7.2mm thick. 7g (0.25oz). The mass of 7g suggests use as a 1/4 ounce weight.

A lead spindle whorl of Walton Rogers from B dating from the Early Medieval to Post Medieval period, AD 900 - 1600. It is a disc with both faces more-or-less flat and straight sides. One face is decorated with radiating grooves. It is 31.6mm diameter, 7.5mm thick and the central hole is 9.7mm in diameter. 40.5g. It has a well developed white patina. Form B spindle whorls are known from AD 700 in York, but the large size of the central aperture suggests a Late Saxon date onwards.

A copper alloy Roman bar mount dating from AD 43 - 410. It is rectangular with rounded ends and is D shaped in cross section. The curved front is decorated with 10 transverse grooves, closely spaced, making it striped. Projecting from the reverse are the remains of two integral copper alloy rivets. A copper alloy Roman plate brooch dating from AD 100 - 300. It is incomplete, the surviving fragment being pelta shaped (semi-circular with the straight side being bi-concave instead). It is flat and plain apart from possible traces of a white metal coating. On the reverse is a double pin attachment lug and the remains of an axis bar. The catchplate is missing, on the missing part of the brooch. The brooch is 28.7mm long, 19.3mm wide and 10.2mm thick. 6.7g. It is similar to Hattatt's Visual catalogue page 357, numbers 1135 and 1623.

An incomplete oval plate brooch dating from the Roman period, about AD 100-300. The object is 23.5mm long, 23.3mm wide and 6.2mm thick. It weighs 5.6g. The face of the brooch consists of two concentric ovals defined by raised borders; the outer one of which has traces of enamelling remaining, which is (now) red in colour. The collar is rectangular, and forms a rectangular loop,much of the detail is obscured by iron corrosion, perhaps from the spring and pin, or maybe from proximity to another object in the ground. Fragment of an unidentified copper alloy object of likely, late, Early Medieval date, c. AD 900-1100. The fragment is openwork, the junction of the bars being marked by small bosses with a larger boss at the central crossing. The fragment is plano-convex, the centre of the underside being hollowed to a depth 3.0mm. It has been broken and truncated both at the ends of the three bars and across the straight edge. Length 22.1mm, Width 14.0mm, Height 8.0mm, Mass 3.44g.

An incomplete copper alloy probable strap slide of late Iron Age to Roman date, about 100 BC - AD 200. The object appears to be the front part of a rectangular loop. The sides are flat thin plates, with a rounded end at the front, and turning inwards at the back of the loop, at least, on one side. The front is decorated with a bi-concave moulding, D shaped in section, with the ends of the sides projecting forward to form a slight ridge at each end, and a very pronounced ridge or semi-circular disc or flange projecting in the centre.
