Description: A complete gold Post-Medieval gold mourning ring. The finger ring is formed of a D shaped band but has been distorted, presumably in the plough field. The ring has a skull on the outer band, comprising of two oval shaped incisions forming the eyes and a triangular shaped incision for the nose. At either side of the skull are crosshatched designs terminating in points. The inside of the band is inscribed with initials ‘S.B’ This is followed by a maker's mark which appears to be I.C within a shield shape. The outer band has been scratched.

An annular buckle type known as a 'disc-on-pin' buckle, made from copper alloy. Dated to the late medieval period. The frame is semi-circular in cross-section, with a narrowed part where the pin would have sat. The pin is missing, but likely would have been made of copper alloy.
If the narrowed part is considered as being at 12 o'clock, then there is a groove at both 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. A Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1500. The plate is rectangular and consists of a folded sheet of copper alloy, recessed at the fold and with a rectangular slot to accommodate a lost pin. The surviving backplate is incomplete, smaller and of equal width to the fold. The front plate is perforated in each corner of the attachment end, both retaining separte iron rivets, and with a third perforation above the midpoint on the logitudinal median line, retaining a copper alloy rivet. A copper-alloy probably Medieval to Post Medieval catch plate, dating to AD 1400-1600. It is a sub-rectangular plate, which has both ends decorated with waisted edges; just before the waist the long edges have a notched knop. One short end has a semi-circular edge, which bears a circular hole. The centre of the opposite edge has a hollow cylindrical bar. The plate is slightly curved in profile, possibly for use. A copper alloy Roman T-shaped brooch. Tubular wings hold the pin axis bar; there is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear for the pin, only the top of the pin remains. The head of the bow has a central ridge with bevelled sides which runs down the length of the bow. The catch plate on the reverse is closed.

A copper alloy belt or strap mount, in the form of a scallop shell. Dated to the late medieval period. The front face is slightly convex and moulded. The scallop shell is semicircular in shape, with five engraved lines creating the rayed effect that indicates it is a scallop shell. In the centre of the shell is a rivet. Underneath this scallop shell is another section that is far smaller. This section appears to depict a zoomorphic face of some sorts, with a small slit being engraved into the edge of the shape.
