An incomplete copper alloy brooch dating to the Roman period, dating to c. AD 75-150. This is an example of a "developed T-shaped" brooch, with the head, wings, bow, foot and catch-plate surviving, in addition to the hinge of the pin and approximately 3.9mm of the pin itself. This class of brooch is associated with the south-west of England. The wings, housing the original access bar for the hinged pin mechanism, are tubular in shape, and the left wing is slightly damaged, leaving the terminal angled at around 45 degrees. Incomplete silver gilt dress hook in the form of a miniature lamp or sconce. The dress hook is cast on three sides, each with four granules or bosses surrounded by filigree work of two concentric twisted wire rings, to create the look of an open lamp. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, a prototype of the Rosette type brooch dating from c. AD 25-60. The brooch has a long flat strip which is decorated with linear incisions down either edge. At one end of the strip is the remains of the coiled spring. Towards the base of the strip is a circular disc with horizontal split through the middle, through which the strip section of the brooch passes through. The strip then terminates in an old break. A copper alloy rod of uncertain use but of probable Roman date. The rod has been bent and coiled at one end, forming a loop and two-coil collar which twists around the remaining length of the rod. The rest of the rod is bent and terminates in an old break. A similar item, also of unknown use, is illustrated in Finds from Roman Aldborough (Bishop 1996:95 no. 601).

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman brooch, possibly a Hod Hill / bow and fantail variant dating from c. AD 43-200. The brooch has wide cylindrical wings rolled in the Hod Hill style and retaining its iron axis bar and the copper alloy hinged pin. The bow narrows from the wide head into a D-shaped section with moulded collars before flattening into the wedge-shaped foot. The catchplate is missing from the reverse.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman hinged developed T-shaped brooch dating to AD 50 -150. The surviving section comprises the head, wings and upper bow. At the head cylindrical wings survive as does the undrilled head loop. At the reverse of the head is the slot cut into the centre to accommodate a hinged pin, which is now missing. The bow is stepped in section having a hollow underside. In the centre of the bow are two raised lozenge-shaped bosses decorated with diagonallly incised grooves forming raised lozenges. The brooch retains part of the head (missing the curl of the hinge casing), the upper section of the bow and a small stub of the lower section of the bow. The rest is missing due to old breaks. The upper bow section has the remains of two arms or projections at the sides and worn inverted V-shaped moulding as decoration.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Late Iron Age or early Roman one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type (c. AD 25-c. 100). The bow is flat and tapers towards the foot of the brooch with the incomplete catch-plate. The bow is undecorated. The head of the brooch retains three of the four coils but the pin the missing. An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch dating to the Middle Iron Age, c. 400-200 BC. The pin and two coils of the four coil spring is missing due to an old break. The brooch has a flat sectioned bow with prominent outward curve at the head of the bow and prominent inward curve towards the foot. Down the centre of the brooch is a raised rib. The pin has a spherical head, known informally as 'wrythen-headed', decorated with deep spiralling grooves. At the apex of the head there is a small indented annulet. Each facet has ring-and-dot decoration, with four rings on each large face and a single dot on each of the smaller faces. An incomplete iron arrowhead of medieval date. The arrowhead is socketed with a pointed tip and near-parallel sides to the break close to the end of the socket. The arrowhead does not appear to have been barbed and the style is similar to bodkin or 'bullet' arrowheads of the period c. AD 1200-1400. A fragment of a Roman ceramic cooking jar, a grey reduced ware with gritty outer face and smooth internally. The sherd has a double-lipped rim and is undecorated, although there does appear to be one or two linear burnishes around the vessel body. Probably from the Alice Holt Forest (Hants/GB) or Farnham (Surrey) industries and therefore dating to c. AD 40-400.

A fragment of a Roman ceramic jug, made in Oxford colour coated red/brown slipped ware (c. AD 240-400). The rim sherd has double collared rim decorated with rouletting. The vessel has an orange/red fabric with grey core, typical of the Oxford wares, and is coated with a brown slip. This sherd appear to be the neck of a jug and is likely to date to the fourth century AD.

A complete cast copper alloy Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) stirrup-strap mount, dating to the period AD 1000-1100. Williams Class A, Type 12 (closed). The front of the plate is lozenge-shaped in plan with four recessed lozenge shaped panels within. The rounded suspension loop is intact as is the rear-facing flange with rivet hole at the base. Fragment of a copper alloy bow brooch broken at both ends and possibly of the Middle Iron Age, part of the bow with a wide recess in the outer face and part of a head or foot largely obscured by corrosion products and rust, Perhaps of Adams 2013 Type 2Ba1, "an arched bow deeply recessed to hold inlaid material covering the entire length of the bow and with additional applied or inlaid material at the foot and sometimes the head." (ibid. 65). No inlay, which is most often coral, is present. Extant length and width 27 and 7.5mm. Weight 3.33g. Mid 3rd - early 2nd century BC.
