A near-complete copper alloy Roman nail-cleaner of Baldock type, dating from the first or second century AD. The nail cleaner has a slender leaf-shaped blade which tapers to a bi-furcated tip, the cleaner, which is slightly damaged. There is no visible decoration on the blade. The nail cleaner has a suspension loop set perpendicular to the blade which extends from the blades rounded shoulders. Similar to Crummy's (1981) Type 2a, dating from c. AD 43-200.

Medieval copper alloy annular framed brooch, pin missing. The frame is of sub-rectangular cross-section and is decorated on the edge of the front face with fine notching around the edge within which is a perimeter groove. Both notches and groove are interrupted by a pin constriction. An engraved inscription reading clockwise from the constriction comprises right arm of a cross potent, cross potent, cross potent, retrograde L, E, cross potent, V, V, I External and internal diameter 21.7 and 13.4mm. Thickness 1.8mm. 13th - 14th century.

A painted sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of Roman date. It has a hard and brittle, pale dark brown micaceous fabric core with abundent sand temper and occasional grey stoneinclusions. Its surfaces are orangey red while the outer surface has been decorated with yellow-white paint covering the entire surface that has been slightly abraded.
