Late Medieval to early Post Medieval copper alloy chafing dish handle and lug. The handle is shaped like an inverted openwork letter 'T'. The lug is still attached, with a circular rivet where it would have been attached to the chafing dish. The metal has a dark brown patina. The handle was probably cast as a single piece and finished with a file. The lug piercing appears to have been formed as a notch, then pressed or hammered closed around the handle. An incomplete and heavily corroded cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill type brooch of Roman date (80-120 AD). The wings are broken and the axis bar, spring and pin are lost. The spring was probably formed of copper alloy wire which was held in place by an external cord which is fixed to an eroded rearward facing hook positioned at the midpoint on the upper edge of the reverse. A worn and broken post medieval copper alloy mount (probably from a sword fitting).The mount has a broken penannular loop and two iron rivets still in place. The rear is flat and has patches of iron oxide, the face is convex, with no decoration visible. An incomplete and mishapen strap slide of post-medieval date. The object would have been rectangular when complete and is D-shaped in cross-section. The object narrows in width at the centre of the outer face where it has been bent out of shape in antiquity and terminates with at break at one end. A medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (strap-fitting). The frame is broadly pentagonal in plan with a wide flat base, rectangular-sectioned sides that slope outwards very slightly, and an angled peak in the centre of the top bar. The base is rectangular in cross section and the sides and top bar are trapeziodal, the inner sides being wider than the outer. A complete cast lead-alloy bifaced circular lead token of Powell's type 2. Obverse: a bird facing right. Reverse: initials in capitals 'S C' with three pellets between the letters and one pellet after the C. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period. Those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800 AD).

A near complete cast copper alloy strap fitting or decorative mount of post-medieval date (c. AD 1600 - c. AD 1800). The mount is roughly square in plan with rounded corners, a raised central knop ans stems between each of the four corner lobes. There is a circular aperture within each lobe. On the reverse of the mount are two integrslly cast spikes for insertion into a leather strap - one is incomplete. This decorative strap fitting is similar to one illustrated in 'Detector Finds' (Bailey 1995, 87 no 10). It is believed to be 17th century in date and used to decorate horse harness straps.

A small and worn copper alloy object of probable early Roman date (c. AD 43-200). The object, possibly part of a brooch or fitting, is slightly oval in plan with a small, rectangular 'tab' projecting from one edge, which is broken and incomplete. Within the face of the fitting is a cinquefoil annulet design set within a recessed circular field which would have been filled with enamel but of which none now survives.
