Copper alloy strap or harness slider or mount. Sub-rectangular shape with shallow double-scalloped sides and curved ends. The reverse has a single tapered prong at each end. Both prongs extend perpendicularly (10.8mm) and then turn back along the body at right angles to create a rectangular loop. The front face is decorated with a medial row of overlapping punched half-circles with central annulets. The central design is bordered along both sides by close-punched rows of annulets. The front face has extensive remains of gilding. Cf NMS-A34A43 and IOW-4A5357. Circa AD 1600- 1700.

A complete copper-alloy Roman zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a horse, dating probably to the 2nd century AD. The brooch is flat faced, in the form of a horse walking and facing left and is of sinuous graceful form. The head is resting against the foreleg and has a groove for the eye and a slightly raised area for the ear. The mane is defined by six short vertical graduating grooves and the neck is gracefully arched and dips below the shoulder, raising again towards the rump before dipping again where the tail begins. Copper alloy incomplete double loop buckle. The second loop is missing from breaks on either side of the frame adjacent to the central extended strap bar. A non-original pin survives consisting of copper wire bent around the pin bar and twisted together. The buckle has a mottled grey and silvery surface appearance. Circa AD 1550- 1700.

A distorted, complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast, sub-circular, unifaced lead token, c. AD 1550-1800. Powell Type 3. The token is divided into eight segments with raised lines and has a pellet in each segment; the other face is undecorated. The token measures 19.37mm in diameter, 2.39mm thick and weighs 6.09grams. Lead tokens were easy to produce and widely circulated; they appear in the Medieval period and those with simple designs continued in use throughout both the Medieval and Post Medieval period. Therefore, a general date of c. 1250-1800 AD is suggested for this token. …

A complete, distorted Post Medieval cast Lead alloy sub-circular uniface token of Powell Type 2. It is decorated with a letter T on one face with three pellets above and two pellets right. The other side is undecorated. The token measures 20.78mm diameter and is 2.33mm thick and weighs 5.88 grams. Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts; those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1550-1800 AD.
