Description: Fragment of a flat silver object, plain on one side and decorated on the other. A short part of the finished edge survives, the rest lost to breaks. The surviving decoration comprises an incised outer border of rectangular pellets enclosing the remains of a zoomorphic motif, depicting a long-necked animal with its head turned back, a pricked rounded ear, drilled eye and slightly open mouth.
Dimensions: Width: 12mm, length: 6.8mm, thickness 0.5mm, weight 0.17g.

Fourteen fragments of gold alloy (electrum) twisted round-sectioned wire. All, apart from three single pieces, consist of two twisted wires. All are broken at both ends into lengths between 10mm and 29.5mm. Diameter of cross-section 1.5 - 1.7mm. Weight 12.97g.
The findspot is close to an area in which 148 very similar fragments were recovered by the same finder between 1987 and 1996 (BM acc nos. 1989, 1201.1-2; 1990, 0304.1-135; 1991, 0602.1-7; 1997, 0901.1-3).
