A broken copper alloy post medieval pedestal seal matrix, dating to the 17th century. The seal matrix is a conical shape with a narrow circular shank which widens at the top to a trefoil flat shaped handle of which the upper lobe is broken. At the base the matrix widens significantly to accommodate the die of the matrix which is circular and emblazoned with a four legged animal/beast, that resembles a rampant lion. The seal has a green/brown patina. A similar example can be in record KENT-5DD127

A complete post-Medieval zoomorphic copper-alloy lug (handle) mount or finial, perhaps from a vessel, casket or staff (c. 1650-c.1800).
This object consists of a solid, moulded seated dog/hound, possibly in the form of a talbot and is integral with a mainly flat rectangular base (13.0mm x 8.9mm x 2.2mm).

A complete but misshapen copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill, dated to the second part of the first century. The spring is still in place being held by the axis bar and rear facing hook. The wings are comparatively short, with a flat oval moulding either side of the top of the bow, which terminates in a globular collared foot knop, the catch plate is solid. The bow is D shaped in cross section, plain on the reverse but decorated on the upper part to the head with two parallel incised lines.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch dating to the Roman period, c. 43-100 AD. The brooch is of Colchester Derivative hinged type, demonstrating a circular-sectioned winged head with an internal axis bar and rectangular slot at its midpoint where the original pin would have hinged from (now missing in old damage). A Roman (AD 43-410) lead anthropomorphic weight in the form of a human face. It is D-shaped in cross-section, being solid and flat to the underside, and ovoid in shape with one rounded end (the top of the head) and one more pointed end (the chin). The convex face has a raised moulded transverse band below the wider end, formed of c. four or five large conjoined pellets. Below are two hollowed oval areas with raised central lentoid eyes. The foot and catchplate of a cast copper alloy Roman bow brooch. The bow, pin and head are missing with an old break at the top.
The bow is D-shaped in section with a flat back. It tapers in width from the break to the foot. At the top of the fragment is an expanded central rib that runs transversely across the bow. A second smaller collar runs transversely across the bow just below this.
