A very worn Dutch copper-alloy duit dated 1748. Obverse: Crowned shield of arms with the top half of a rampant lion in a stylised sea and an inscription LUCTOR ET [E]ME[NT]OR Reverse: star/castle/star at top with ZEE/LAN/DIA/1748 in four lines. Diameter 21.7mm, thickness 0.9mm and weight 2.4g.
