Fine-grained grey sedimentary stone, possible rubber or polisher. A chipped and elongated water-rolled cobble, possibly smoothed on one flat face, chipped, probably more recently. Diagonal lines appearing on the flattened face are the bedding planes of the rock, perhaps here revealed by the use of the stone. This may be an improvised hone or smoother, both categories of object with a broad date range probably extending from the Bronze Age to the Early Medieval period. One is a naturally formed pot lid flake; the largest has a near-flat ventral surface, and two have slightly concave ventral surfaces. A medieval cast copper-alloy single loop buckle dating to c.1250-1500. The frame has a D-shaped loop with an enlarged outer edge that is also slightly pointed. The sides are curved and the strap bar is very narrow and slightly offset. Length 21.5mm, width 16.4mm, thickness 1.6mm and weight 1.2g. Similar buckles can be seen in R Whitehead - Buckles 1250-1800, page 18.

A Post-Medieval toy pistol with two barrels made from a lead alloy body cast in two halves around the rusted remnant of an iron firing mechanism and trigger. The stock has a slightly convex butt and tapers up towards the lock and barrel, carrying elaborate moulded foliate decoration along both sides which includes a leaping hare or rabbit running towards the lock on the left side and a deer fawn facing towards the butt on the right side. An incomplete copper alloy purse bar with loop, dating to c. 1500 - 1550. The remains of the purse bar include the two horizontal arms which would have formed the upper part of the frame and the loop and shank which now sits loose in the central block and can be removed. The remainder of the frame is now missing. The purse bar has a tapering oval shaped attached loop, this tapers into a rounded rectangular collar.
