The upper half and suspension loop of a medieval bell. The lower edge of the bell fragment has eight semi-circular protruding blunt raised projections, presumably the remains of an openwork lower half suggesting the bell was sounded by a clapper rather than a pea.. The upper face has three impressed decorative panels, each with a circular outline containing an unclear, possibly shield-like, design. The inner face of the lower surface has remains of iron corrosion possibly from the original iron clapper. The object is in fair condition, is 28mm in diameter, 26mm thick and weighs 23.50g.

Three copper halfpennies; probably a purse loss as they were found in association with a 1707 shilling of Queen Anne (PUBLIC-6A210E). All three are badly corroded, but coins 1 and 2 have enough detail on the obverses to identify a right facing bust with distinctive hair, and they are probably all of William III, and date to c.1695 - 1701. Coin 1 (top) measures 28.3mm in diameter and weighs 6.7g. Coin 2 (middle) measures 26.5mm in diameter and weighs 5.1g. Coin 3 (bottom) measures 26.9mm in diameter and weighs 5.5g.

The mount consists of three lobes the central one being much larger than the two either side of it. Central lobe is also decorated with cross hatched lines. A small fragment of a post-Medieval copper-alloy openwork buckle frame (c. 1720-c. 1790). This fragment is moulded at the front and flat on the reverse and is the corner of the frame. Openwork is formed by 'interwoven' 'rope work' with a motif resembling a stylised scallop shell or frond at the corner. The object is mainly covered with a green patina on both faces. The breaks are old and abraded. Length: 16.6mm; width: 12.4mm; thickness: 1.9mm. Weight: 1.24g. A small sherd from a stoneware jug, probably a German Belamine jug, dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD1600-1700). The outer face of the sherd depicts part of the design but too little survives to fully identify the design. The outer surface is covered in an iron-rich salt glaze producing a textured mottled brown effect. The fabric is hard fired and light grey in colour. A post Medieval copper alloy vessel repair clip. Made from an approximately rhomboid strip of copper alloy sheet of thickness 0.6mm, neatly folded inwards and then outwards again from both sides. Other examples tend to terminate in points, but in this example the points have either broken off or it has been deliberately fashioned in this way. There are patches of light and dark green patina and also patches of a white concretion on the surface. Suggested date: Early Medieval to post medieval, 1066-1800. Length: 19.6mm. A Medieval silver penny of Edward I (AD 1272-1307). Long cross Class 9b (North 1037/1) dating to AD 1299-1300/1. Mint of London. North (1991: 30). Coin is cracked at 10 o'clock on the obverse. Overall dimensions: 17.06mm in diameter and 1.23g in weight.

An incomplete asymmetrical double looped copper alloy buckle from the early post-medieval period (1500-1650). Both loops are triangular in cross section with a flat back and ridge around the front. One loop is trapezoidal in shape, where the outer bar is longer than the inner, central bar. The other loop is D-shaped, and has a pointed knop in the centre of the outer edge. A copper-alloy Roman cast figurine of a goat, dating to AD 43-410. It depicts a standing goat with the head slightly turning sideways; it is of crude manufacture with outlined head details and pointed horns. It has a roughly finished rearside with incomplete perforation between front and rear legs; no perforations between the pair of legs. A secondary waste flake from flint working, 34.9mm in length and with trapezoidal shape. One side demonstrates a bulb of percussion and concentric ripple with a striking surface at the narrow end of the flake. The other side demonstrates flake removal scars from when the flake was part of a core. The wide end of the flake retains a portion of cortex. No retouch or worked edges are evident to suggest the flake being used as a finished tool. Mesolithic to Neolithic.
