The object comprises a fragment of the central boss, with a central circular raised border surrounding a smaller central knop. The recessed area between has the remains of enamel set within. The back of the piece is concave. The edges of the piece are all broken, the breaks are worn and old.

An incomplete, copper alloy, Late Iron Age, brooch, 100 BC -AD.50. The brooch comprises the head, bow and catchplate, the spring is incomplete and the pin is missing. The brooch is undecorated, the catchplate is triangular and wide 12.44mm. Only one and a half of the spring coils remain.

An incomplete, copper alloy, Roman hair pin, AD.43-410. The pin comprises a conical head with engraved lines set out in a triangular pattern. Below the head the pin tapers sharply to the pin shank which itself tapers to a broken point.

A complete, copper alloy, Roman, belt closure stud, AD.120-300. The object comprises a dumbell shaped stud with a concave depression in one of the wider sections. The object is formed of two wide circular sections with a narrower waisted connecting cylinder. There is a central piercing that passes through the object lengthways.

A fragment of a copper alloy, Roman, folding knife, AD.50-400. The object comprises a rectangular plate which is pierced by a single rivet hole a single iron rivet remains in situ. Below the plate is a semicircular half cylinder, the outside edge of which has three evenly spaced ridges. The object is formed by folding the two sides of the cylinder over to form the casing for the folding iron knife.

A large fragment from the tip of a cast bronze (copper alloy)socketed spearhead of Middle - Late Bronze Age date (1500 - 750 BC). The spearhead is abraded; it is broadly sub-triangular in plan and profile with an incomplete and abraded sub-oval / leaf or flame shaped blade. The tip of the spearhead is lost due to an old patinated break; the side blades are also much abraded, loosing most of their shape and also their original cutting edges. A cast copper alloy 'plastic style' pin head of probable later Iron Age date (150 BC - AD 80). The pin head is globular in form being irregular in plan and cross section. It seems to be cast in one piece and the head of the pin is sub-spherical with a series of ball shaped bosses extending from the edge. The head would have fitted to a separate iron pin shank which is partially preserved where it fits into the head. A slim gold band, flat in cross-section, bent into a U-shape with both ends broken. May have been a ring when complete, or part of some other item of jewellery. Since the broken ends don’t match it is likely that a part is missing. Part of the exterior is decorated with a double row of incised dots, which may have continued around the band but have been worn away since they are very shallow. Likely Early Medieval to Medieval in date.
