A silver halfgroat of the Commonwealth dating to the period AD 1649 - 1660. Conjoined shields of St George and Ireland reverse, with II mark of value above. Mint of London. North Vol 2, p.206, no.2728. A perforation is present close to the centre of the coin though it is not possible to determine if this was intentional or the result of post-depositional damage.
