Medieval (13th to 14th centuries) shield-shaped heraldic mount: The copper alloy fitting is shield-shaped and has decoration on the outer face in the form of: Azure, three bendlets or and a canton with three ermine spots. Which is obliquely angled lines, alternating blue and probably yellow if the colour of the bronze is used. There are no signs of gilding. For the blue, these stripes are three cells, one of which has a fleck of blue, probably enamel, adhering to the surface. Fragment of a Roman copper alloy (speculum) mirror. The fragment is sub trapezoidal and has old breaks on all edges, with breaks at one end across twin circular perforations. Both faces are polished, one side with fine striations. Extant length 23mm. Extant width 11mm. 1mm thick. Speculum is a copper alloy containing a high concentration of tin which tends to be very brittle. A number of similar fragments have been recorded on the database including NMS-242E75; LANCUM-3C5106 & SF-1EF1D4. c. AD 43 - 409.

A cast lead object, probably a piece of casting waste of unknown date consisting of a casting well and runners. It has an oval base and an upright extension with concave sides, flaring towards the top where it is divided on one side into three points by V shaped grooves on one side. The other side of the extension is flat. There is a small depression in the centre of the base and traces of a casting seam are visible along one edge of the extension. The object has a light grey patina. It is 19.7mm long, 20.6mm wide and 12.9mm thick. It weighs 15.1g.

An inscribed, copper alloy mount or label, probably from a box, trunk, case or chest, of post-Medieval date, about AD 1700 - 1900. In plan it is a narrow rectangle with a hemispherical extension at each end, pierced with a circular perforation. One of the ends has broken away at the perforation and is missing. Incomplete Early Saxon tinned copper alloy gusset plate, the broad triangular lower part with a perforation before the angle on both sides, broken across one, the other with twin oblique grooves before the point. Angular median rib with longitudinal groove and oblique lines forming flanking zig-zags. The upper end has traces of tinning at the break across opposed angular lobes, both with single ring-and-dot. Extant width 31mm. Extant length 20mm. Thickness at rib 3mm. Weight 4.15g. The breaks are not recent. C. AD 480-530.

The object consists of two plates attached by a square-sectioned rivet which is integral to the upper plate, and off-centre to both. Both plates are decorated with a lattice pattern of cross-hatching (compare the incised decoration of SF-429715). The object has a length of 12.4mm, a width of 11.0mm, and a thickness of 6.6mm.
