A silver coin of uncertain denomination and ruler. Probably 13th - 14th century. The coin is likely from a German state and the design appears ecclesiastical. John Naylor, National Finds Advisor for Early Medieval and later coinage, states that it is always very difficult to pin these down without an adequate inscription surviving. The closest example which could be found at the time of recording was a Dünnpfennig of Eberhard I of Schwabe (1164-7), from southern Germany (Bayern) but the style here appears later.
