~~Copper alloy Polden Hill type brooch with Hod Hill and Fan Tail influence. Rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings which hold the spring support bar which is mow missing resulting in the loss of the spring and pin. The top half of the bow consists of a rectangular panel with a projecting knop in the lower corners. The panel is decorated with five raised latitudinal raised bands; the central band in the larges and has a loop at the top that would have held the external cord for the spring.
