Post Medieval copper alloy double loop buckle with part of the pin still in situ. The buckle has two oval loops each with large knops in the centre of the outer edge. The oval knops project into and beyond the line of the loops and have an unclear raised design, possibly a flower, on them. The rest of both loops is decorated with a worn design, possibly a recessed strip with regularly spaced raised pellets within it. There are worn pointed knops at each end of the narrowed strap bar. Post Medieval silver circular button. The button is plain on the front and the back has a central scar where the soldered on loop has been lost. Below the loop are the incised initials RC, presumably the owner, around the scar are the stamps of the lion pasant guardant, the soverigns Head duty mark and the makers mark, H[...]. The button is 23.6mm in diameter, 0.8mm thick, weighs 3.30g and is slightly bent.
The makers mark is not fully clear and there is no clear office mark which might help narrow the possibilities. The dating is this dependant on the duty mark which was used from…

A post-medieval clay tobacco pipe dating to 1822 to 1853 with the heel and a small portion of the bowl and stem remaining. The bowl is curved away from the heel and the stem but breaks almost immediatey so the full form is unclear. It appears to be plain in the lower part. The heel is of the spur type common in bristol and the West Country and has a raised makers mark in the form of an R on each side.
