Incomplete medieval to post medieval foot from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1700. The foot is trapezoidal in cross-section with a central mid-rib and terminates in an old break above and below. It exhibits heavy traces of sooting. An incomplete cast copper-alloy vessel leg/foot dating from the Medieval to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1400-1750). The leg consists of two irregularly shaped broken sides bent at an angle of roughly 110 degrees. The underside of the object is roughly L-shaped in plan and flat, allowing the object to stand evenly. At the base of the interior there is a thickened band that extends into the corner with a slightly raised rib along the upper ridge. Both sides and the base of the object are unevenly broken. Copper alloy rim fragment from a cooking vessel of medieval to post medieval date (c. AD 1300 - 1700). The fragment probably derives from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, posnet or skillet.
