An early early-medieval (Anglo-Saxon, c. 450-550), copper alloy button brooch of Suzuki's class C, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. In addition both pin lug and catchplate are damaged, as well as the angled walls to the front of the brooch. The front would have originally been gilded but no trace of this survives now. The brooch comprises a circular base with angled walls (turned outwards) surrounding it to one side only (the base of the walls on the opposite side are jagged but worn). An incomplete copper-alloy brooch, probably headstud type, of Roman date, c.AD 75 - 200. Only the lower bow and foot remains, the upper portion lost to a worn break. The bow is D-shape and tapers to a rounded foot knop with cable decoration around its edge. A partial catchplate extends from the reverse of the bow and displays a single circular perforation. This perforation suggest the catchplate was damaged and repaired in antiquity. The metal has a light green patina and survives in good condition. A copper alloy Roman Large T-shaped brooch. Tubular wings hold the pin axis bar, there is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear for the pin, only the top of the pin remains. The head of the bow has a central ridge with bevelled sides which runs down to a mounded knee, below the leg narrows with two rectangular cells on the front, a closed catch plate on the reverse and small knop foot on the bottom.

An incomplete copper alloy Headstud brooch of Roman date, c.AD 75 - 200. The brooch consists of a rectangular flaring head with flat wings which is concave to the reverse with an integral semi-circular lug. This lug would have housed the spring/hinge mechanism though this no longer remains. A wired loop projects from head, integral to the lug, curving around to join the top of the head. Incomplete Roman crescent-type Aesica brooch. Broken rearward hook, spring missing. Broken wings, one with extant vertical line at the outer edge. The bow has a median engraved line between two broad grooves. The back-plate has a riveted applied crescent now pitted and corroded, and three median and two bordering engraved lines on the splayed foot with damaged lower edge. Stump of catch-plate on the reverse. Extant wingspan 13.5mm. Extant length 31mm. Mid 1st century.

A medieval (c.1200-1400) gold annular brooch complete with pin.
