Flint debitage. Six small flakes, the largest with a markedly concave ventral surface and the others with long narrow parallel flake removal scars on the ir dorsal sides. A range of degrees of patination may indicate the variable exposure of the flint to a calcareous environment after its deposition. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.

A creamy patina indicates the object has endured prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment, while rust spots may hint at its incorporation in gravels.
