Silver finger ring dating from the Medieval period, c.1200-1400. The ring is inscribed on the outer face of its hoop with the Lombardic letters +A+G+L+A+A with each letter separated by a cross potent. The inscription has amuletic significance representing the words, translated from Hebrew: Atha Gebri Leilan Adonai, meaning 'Thou art mighty forever, O Lord'. It was invoked as a charm against fever during the Middle Ages. See O. M. Dalton, Catalogue of Finger Rings (London, 1912), pp.135-6. Incomplete medieval to post medieval foot from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1700. The foot is trapezoidal in cross-section with a central mid-rib and terminates in an old break above and below. It exhibits heavy traces of sooting.
The vessels to which these were attached were usually of a tripod form and were widely used from circa AD 1200-1700 for serving and cooking. An incomplete copper-alloy book clasp of medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1450 - 1700. The object is rectangular with a narrowed integral rectangular hook projecting centrally from one end. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with three faint bands of two transverse grooves. A single rivet hole is present at the centre of one end.
The metal has a dark red/brown patina and is worn. The object is 24.9mm long, 12.9mm wide, 0.7mm thick and weighs 1.2g.

A pair of corresponding rivet holes are present at the centre of the open attachment end. The plates are undecorated and are bent at the middle.

The plate is rectangular with two triangular notched cut-outs resulting in a zig-zag appearance to one end and a straight edge to the other. The plate is undecorated and retains a single rivet hole through the centre of the zig-zag edge.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 23.8mm long, 14.9mm wide, 0.8mm thick and weighs 1.4g.

The plates are sub-rectangular in plan, tapering to a slightly rounded closed terminal at one end and a flat topped open attachment terminal at the other. A pair of corresponding rivet holes are present at the centre of the open attachment end, retaining the rivet. The plates are undecorated.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 29.9 mm long, 9.3mm wide, 5.6mm thick and weighs 3.5g.
