An incomplete cast copper-alloy phallic pendant dating to the Roman period. The pendant has a suspension loop, which is D-shaped in cross-section, at a right angle to a back plate. The wings of the brooch are plain and open-ended, the cylindrical casing retains fragments of the probable iron axis bar within. An off-centre rectangular opening in the wing cylinder allows for a now-missing, probably hinged, pin to be attached. A complete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Colchester Derivative double-lug type, dating c. 43-100 AD. An incomplete copper-alloy probably Roman furniture fitting, dating to AD 43-410. It is a figurine depicting a seated lion, which lacks of one of the front leg. The head of the lion is damaged and heavily pitted. At the base of the figurine there is a integral cast socketed rectangular pedestal, which is damaged on one corner. The figurine might have been part of a decoration of a box or casket. No parallels have been found.
