A complete and very worn copper-alloy rose orb jetton dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1550-c.1650). Struck for an unknown Nuremburg master. The obverse is illegible but probably depicts alternating crowns and lis with a central rose. The reverse depicts a small imperial orb within tressure of three arches.

Two semi-hard hammer struck flakes, the longer of the two is in unpatinated dark grey flint and is shallowly notched to one lateral edge at the midpoint (51 x 17 x 8.5 mm). The other is of mottled brown and grey slightly patinated flint, also semi-hard hammer struck from an opposed, or multi-platform core with previous flake removals in opposition to each other, both ends of the flake retain platforms. Possible fine use-wear as well as recent damage to the lateral edge with the thinnest angle (43.5 x 21 x 7 mm). Both pieces are Late Prehistoric: Neolithic to Bronze Age.

Description: Post-medieval silver strap fitting, possibly from a book, in the form of a box chape. It comprises four pieces of sheet silver, soldered together to form a hollow pentagonal box. The front edges are concave, and taper into a circular-sectioned projection, possibly a hook, which terminates in an old break. An incomplete Post-Medieval silver bosun's whistle. These have been dated spanning between c. AD 1500-1700, though they are more commonly considered to date to the 17th century AD. This type of whistle is a composite artefact. The remains of this object weigh 2.82g. Two hemispheres form an egg-shaped oval that give the whistle its maximum width of 16.3mm (the egg-shape's length axis). A fragment of Roman ceramic hypocaust/flue tile dating to AD43 - 410. The front surface has the combed keying pattern for mortar, with two sets of five parallel lines. The lines are shallow and narrow with wide spaces between. The reverse is plain. The fabric has fine sand temper and common very fine chalk and patinated flint inclusions mostly very small but with some pieces up to 1mm long. A fragment of a late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axe head, probably dating to 1100-800 BC and deliberately broken as part of ritual deposition. Only the cutting edge and adjacent section with the end of the socket survive. The cutting edge survives intact and runs in a shallow convex curve 39.7mm long, the blade tips flare outwards slightly but both the tips and blade edge are damaged and chipped.
