Two fragments of a Silver medieval penny of Henry VI (1422-1461) dating to the first reign, annulet type, circa 1422-1427. Mint of Calais. One larger fragment with a ragged edge contains approximately 70 % of the flan. A second small fragment from the outer edge is present. An incomplete Early Medieval cast Copper-alloy strap end of Thomas' Class B, Type 1 dating to c. AD 750-1050. The strap-end consists of a sub-oval bifurcated plate tapering into a sub-rectangular zoomorphic terminal. The large end is decorated in Trewhiddle style, the fine detail is lost to abrasion. The rectangular lower section of the object is decorated on the front face with transverse, incised lines which create six ribs. A fragment of a Medieval copper alloy, cast, annular brooch. The frame is about fifty per cent complete and there are old breaks at either end. It has three moulded knops and is missing its pin. The surface of the brooch is brown, with patches of green patina. Length 20.8mm. Width 12.1mm. Thickness (max) 2.8mm. Weight 1.06g. A similar example can be found in Hattatt (2000), p 382, number 1711.

Copper alloy nail cleaner with moulded neck and shouldered blade. Cast implement with a circular top loop (with remaining copper alloy fixing loop attached to the circular top loop). A tall neck with four moulded ridges and leaf-shaped blade which tapers and the end, which is now missing and was probably originally bifurcated. It is 30mm long, 10mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 2.71gms. Suggested date: Roman, A.D. 43-150.

Neolithic flint discoidal 'thumbnail' scraper. Formed on a d-shaped secondary flake of translucent light-brown flint which has recortication on the dorsal face, with semi-abrupt parallel retouch all around the curved edge, and a striking platform at the proximal edge, with a subcircular area of surface loss emanating from it. The ventral face is convex with a prominent bulb of percussion. The scraper is 18.1mm long, 20.8mm wide and 5.8mm thick and the weight is 2.48g. Probably later Neolithic to early Bronze age in date, c.3000 - 1500BC.

An incomplete copper alloy 'Disc-and-Trumpet' Trumpet brooch derivative of Roman date, c.AD 100 - 200. The head is ovate with a worn break at the top where a headloop would have attached. The underside of the head is concave and no trace of the spring and pin mechanism remain except small indents in each side of the head where the axis bar would have rested. A post medieval copper-alloy latten spoon knop probably dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1600. The knop is of the seal top type with a flat top c.11.6mm in diameter. Below the top is a constriction, beyond which the spoon widens into a conical collar which tapers into a narrow collar. Below this, the spoon tapers further before expanding into a more elongated ball, which then narrows and expands again before tapering to terminate in an old break across the hexagonal sectioned stem. An incomplete copper-alloy and gilded disc headed pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 700-900. The pin head is circular in plan and a circular sectioned pin shaft extends from its base before terminating in a blunt break. A copper alloy T shaped Roman brooch.There are cylindrical wings, the left one broken and shorter than the right. The bow has 3 horizontal grooves and has been damaged to curve to the right. A complete lead alloy weight or gaming piece of uncertain dating. The weight is disc shaped, with flat faces and rounded sides. There is an incised line across one side just offset from centre. The other side face very faint lettering around the outside edge, too worn to be legible except for a possible X. The metal is worn and creamy brown in colour. A complete copper alloy medieval annular buckle, dating to c. AD 1200-1300. The frame is circular in shape, and sub circular in cross section, the underside being flattened. The frame is decorated with three groups of two incisions and three groups of three incisions all equally spaced around the frame. There is no evidence of a pin bar. The copper alloy pin survives complete and moves freely around the ring. There is a slight green patina in places. The buckle is 18mm in diameter with a thickness of 2mm. The lack of restriction for the pin suggests this is a buckle rather than a brooch.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy 'bell-shaped' furniture fitting dating to the period AD 43-410. The fitting measures 18.3mm in height, 29.5mm in diameter and weighs 19.3g. The patina is smooth, the colour is brown with specks of green. The fitting has a corroded domed top with a central lug of diameter 12mm at its base narrowing to 8mm and then widening to 12 mm at the top.
