A copper-alloy Roman anepigraphic nummus of Constantius II (AD 323-361), dating to the period c.AD 326 (Reece period 16). CONSTAN/TIVS/CAESAR reverse type depicting the legend in three lines, a star above. Mint of Trier. As RIC VII, p. 210, no. 491. Anepigraphic nummi such as this were issued for the Imperial family following the commemoration of Constantine I's vicennalia in AD 325.

A complete cast copper-alloy strap-slide dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1150-1400). The strap side is trapezoidal in shape and flat with a bent upper edge and an internal pointed projection either side. All surfaces of the frame are plain with minor scratches and abrasions in several areas. The strap-slide is 24mm long, 15mm wide and 3mm thick. It weighs 2.5 grams. A cast copper-alloy single loop buckle frame dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1250-1400). The buckle frame is oval in shape with an ornate outer edges and a narrow offset strap bar. The outside edge is trapezoidal in shape with a notched lip flanked by two pairs of transverse knops. The top and bottom edges of the loop are sub-square in cross-section. The strap bar is square in cross-section, with an off-centre notch. The underside of the top, bottom and outside edges are bevelled and undecorated. An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age early Roman brooch of the Langton Down Type, dating to AD 25-60. The spring case is heavily damaged and only an L-shaped cross-sectioned fragment survives. The bow is humped in profile and a sub-rectangular cross-section; it breaks towards the foot. The bow has a flat back face and a reeded front face. The back face of the foot bears traces of the pierced catch-plate. Where the bow meets the spring case there is a transverse slightly curved raised line. The edges of the bow are extremely damaged. There is a plain rim and no manufacturing marks. The outer face has lines of evenly spaced sub-circular indentations/drilled pits which spiral near the base but then become parallel. Medieval gilt copper alloy bar-mount for the suspension of a harness pendant . There are two rivet holes, both with copper alloy rivet, and at one end a pair of pierced lugs containing the remains of the iron spindle which would have held the pendant. The other end is lobed, traces of tranverse mouldings. Normally such mounts are horizontal (e.g. N. Griffiths in Clark 1995, 69, fig. 52 nos. 73-4) or are cruciform (ibid. no. 75). This vertical mount is an interesting variant, see a similar example from Florden (NMS-DCFB77). Length 24mm. Width 7mm. 4.5mm thick at loops. 13th - 14th century.
