Lead weight of uncertain date (c. 43 - 1800 AD). The weight is broadly lentoid in shape, bulging at the middle and narrowing at each end. The weight presumably had some sort of suspension loop at one end, which is now missing. The object has a light-brown patina. It is 31.91mm in length and 15.09mm in width. It weighs 26.80g. This type of lead weight was crudely made and had multiple functions, including as fishing weights.
