Lead fragment, probably from a Roman bow brooch (c. 43 - 300 AD). The fragment is from the head of the brooch, comprising two tubular wings from which the bow (oval in section) curves out and down. The fragment is extremely worn and the ends of the wings are broken. The fragment has a light-brown patina. It is 18.00mm in length, 23.02mm in width and 9.12mm in thickness. It weighs 14.84g. An incomplete lead alloy seal, probably part of an alnage seal of post-medieval date (c. 1525 - 1724). The object is one disc from a two or four disc set. It is circular with the stub of a 11 mm wide connecting strip protruding 5 mm from the edge. One side is stamped with a crown over three stars. The crown and stars were a very common motif on alnage seals, particularly London seals (Egan 1992, p 2). Diameter of disc is 28.3, thickness 2.7 mm. Weight 15.1 g

A copper-alloy fragment of a Roman steelyard scale, dating to AD 43-410. It is a sub-rectangular bar with a flattened oval cross-section, which has old breaks at both ends. The long and narrow sides of the bar have notched calibrations, each set at regular but different spacing. The wider faces of the arm bear Roman numbers inscribed, indicating V and X below the set of the notches closer together and just a V below one of the notch of the opposite set of calibration; the Vs are always set with the open side towards the notches. A fragment of a copper alloy, Roman, bracelet, AD.50-400. The object comprises the terminal of a bracelet, the terminal is formed of a tapering, 'arrowhead' shaped with a rectangular flange surrounding, at the base of the 'arrowhead' is a punched circular indentation. The band of the bracelet is decorated below the terminal with a series of diagonally angled rectangular punches, nine in total. Post-medieval cast copper alloy strap mount in the form of an elongated heart shape, dating from the 17th century. Two worn fragments of cast hand bell or small hanging bell of probable 17th-19th century date. Description: The fragments fit together to forming a rough trapezoidal plan and represents a lower section of the body, part of the belt and the lip. The outer face is convex and the internal is concave. Full diameter was roughly 70mm. The belt of the bell, dividing the body from the lip is slightly cast in relief with some finishing via incising or bevelling. The bell fragment is a dark grey colour.
