Roman copper alloy circular plate brooch with raised rim and a central, conical spike with terminal knop, springing from a disc on a bun-shaped boss within a knurled radial rib. The flap of the catchplate and most of the hinged pin are missing, the surviving fragment secured by a copper alloy iron spindle. Diameter 22.5mm. Height 11mm.
