An incomplete and worn cast gilt-copper-alloy object of uncertain date and function, although likely 1000-1800. Description: The object remains irregularly shaped due to breaks and but has a crescentic top, worn and broken at one side, followed by lozenge shaped collar, below which is an openwork plate. The openwork lower section tapers slightly inwards before widening outwards with curved sides although the full extent and exact shape of which is uncertain due to wear. An incomplete, heavily-worn cast copper-alloy Medieval to Post Medieval (1200 -1700 AD) pot leg. Description: The leg is roughly triangle in form but remains irregularly shaped, in has a elognated oval cross-section. It tapers downward has from the joining point at the top which has broken away and the foot appears to have been worn away.. A prominent central ridge runs down the upper surface top to bottom. Two worn fragments of cast hand bell or small hanging bell of probable 17th-19th century date. Description: The fragments fit together to forming a rough trapezoidal plan and represents a lower section of the body, part of the belt and the lip. The outer face is convex and the internal is concave. Full diameter was roughly 70mm. The belt of the bell, dividing the body from the lip is slightly cast in relief with some finishing via incising or bevelling. The bell fragment is a dark grey colour. Measurements: 77.98mm wide, 36.49mm high, 3.36mm thick and 36.52g in weight

A corroded copper-alloy hinged fitting with some iron plate from the shoulder plates of Corbridge type lorica segmentata armour dating to the first or second centuries AD. Description: The fitting comprises two flat copper-alloy plates sandwiching a fragment of the plate iron. The plates have a rectangular body and a T shape arm, the insets between the rectangular arm and the horizontal T bar are concave.
