Gilded copper-alloy bezel fragment from a finger ring of probable late medieval to post-medieval date (c.1450 - 1650 AD). The band of the finger ring is rectangular in section and widens and thickens to a circular bezel incised with a decorative motif. The outer face of band is ribbed. The motif on the bezel consists of a beaded circle around a central heart-shaped leaf. Two hachured fronds frame the leaf, the end of one of them joining to the top of the leaf. A copper alloy Roman brooch, Maxey bow and fantail type dating to AD 50-150 with a tinned surface. Complete with catchplate and spring but missing pin. The wings are semi-cylindrical and undecorated and a double pierced lug holds the axis bar and spring cord. The bow has three parallel ridges along the spine. The foot flares out to 10.8mm wide, has a moulded linear border surrounding an inner border of dot decoration and joins the bow at a moulded transverse ridge. As Hattatt (2000), p314. Very similar examples on the database include SF-CB0147.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy single loop trapezoidal buckle frame (c. 1300-c. 1500). The pin is missing. This frame has moulded decoration at the front and is flat at the rear. It is bevelled internally at the front. The outer edge has two pairs of oblique grooves. The bar is sub-oval in cross-section and is slightly narrowed. A complete cast copper alloy finger ring of possible Medieval date c. AD 1400 - 1600. The ring is made from copper alloy with a hollow, oval bevel that retains white paste which may have been a bonding agent used to secure a stone, glass or gem which is now absent. From the bezel the band narrows and then abruptly widens into squared shoulders, with the band gentle narrowing away from the bezel. An incomplete, copper-alloy, Roman Umbonate plate brooch, c. AD 100-250. The body of the brooch is lozenge-shaped with rounded corners. It has a projection at each end: one is the remains of a small catchplate and the other a double-lugged hinge for the pin on the reverse. Part of the pin remains in situ, around the pin bar. A copper alloy chafing dish handle and lug dating to the late medieval or early post medieval period (AD 1400 - AD 1600). The handle is shaped like an inverted openwork letter T. There is a lug still attached, with a circular rivet where it would have been attached to the chafing dish. The metal is worn and mid green in colour. The chafing dish handle is 49.6 mm long, 54.0 mm wide and 5.1 mm thick. It weighs 31.3 g. Similar examples have been recorded on the PAS database, such as YORYM-8523C4, LANCUM-8DD53A, PUBLIC-626F4E and SUR-B69AE2.

A complete copper alloy finger ring of late Roman date c. AD 250-450. The ring is made from a cut down armlet or bracelet as each terminal shows a fairly rough cut down or broken face and are slightly flattened. The band is decorated by lightly incised lines forming a chevron and leaf pattern. Cf. Crummy (1983) fig.50, no.1773 dating to the Late 3rd-4th century AD.
