Copper alloy metalworking debris fragment. A small fragment of solidified copper alloy melt which has set on a smooth flat surface. The upper side is darkened. This is presumably spillage from a minor episode of casting involving a eutectic or freely flowing alloy. Suggested date: Unknown, Roman to Post-Medieval, 43-1800. Length: 20.7mm, Thickness: 1.6mm, Weight: 2.15gms
