A complete Roman copper alloy finger ring, probably dating c. AD 250-410. The ring consists of a rectangular sectioned hoop decorated with a series of bevelled notches on alternating edges of the outer face. Dimensions: diameter: 19.6mm; the hoop 1.5mm thick; weight 0.73g. A Roman copper alloy colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch, dating to c AD 75 -175. The brooch survives largely complete, missing only the pin and axis bar, and with damage to the wing caps and catch plate. At the head of the brooch the wings survive complete to a width of 37.6mm; these are C-shaped in cross section, with incomplete, perforated wing caps closing either end. A medieval copper alloy mount, probably dating to c. AD 1150-1450. The mount comprises a central circular boss with a convex front and concave reverse. The front of the boss has a circular central piercing with squared off edges on the upper surface, c 1.8mm x 1.8mm. There are five transverse incised lines with a number of longitudinal ones either side of the piercing creating a chequer board effect. An Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy bead, probably dating to c. 800 BC - AD 100. The bead is circular in plan and biconical in cross section, with a circumferential ridge emphasised by slight incised lines. The bead has a large, central, circular perforation 6.2mm in diameter. Dimensions: diameter 15.1mm; thickness 7.3mm weight 5.14g. cf. BH-431B44 and SUR-14AA83, amongst others for similar examples on this database. A larger example, but of similar form, was excavated at Camerton and dated to c. 50 BC - AD 50 (Jackson 1990: 48 & plt. 14).

An incomplete Medieval to Post-Medieval sheet copper alloy dagger scabbard chape dating to c. AD 1300-1600. This example is made from a copper alloy sheet, about 0.75mm thick, that has been rolled into a broadly conical shape with an overlapping, soldered join on the reverse. An incomplete Roman copper alloy strip bow brooch, a British variant of an Aucissa brooch, dating to c. AD 20 - 70. The surviving fragment comprises of the upper bow and damaged head, the rest of the brooch being lost to old breaks. A Post-Medieval copper alloy pot leg, of Butler, Green and Payne's type C, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The leg is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in cross-section, with a prominent transverse collar dividing the foot and leg, with the latter lost to an old break. The inside edge is flat and plain, whilst the foot has five prominent longitudinal ridges down its front. Dimensions: length 46.7mm; width 26.1mm; thickness 18.0mm; weight 68.01g. Butler, Green & Payne (2009) classify such legs as their type C, in use by the 16th century and ubiquitous by the 17th.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Developed T-shaped brooch (South Western type), probably dating to c. AD 100-200. The surviving section comprises the head and upper bow.
