A Post Medieval copper alloy mount dating from AD 1450-1700. The mount is sub triangular in plan with a projecting circular knop on the short side. The mount has three circular rivet holes arranged on a triangular formation. The mount is decorated with 13 pellets grouped in a central motif possibly represents a bunch of grapes. A Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal dating from AD 1600-1620. This is one disk from a four-disc cloth seal. A similar seal is illustrated in Elton (2017:303). The obverse has the Arms of the town of Wesel, an ornate shield bearing three weasels courant, central inescutcheon, MEMENTO.MORI around. The reverse is blank and undecorated.
