A silver solid long-cross penny probably of Edward I (AD 1272-1307), possibly Edward II (AD 1307-1327). Obverse shows an unclear crowned head facing with probably a bifoliate crown and cross pattee initial mark. Obverse reads EDWARANG[L]DNSHYB. Reverse shows solid long-cross with three pellets per quarter. Reverse reads CIVI/T[A]S/LON/DON. The letter S is egg-waisted and letters C and E are closed and round-backed.
Die axis 6 o'clock, weight 1.39g, diameter 18.5mm, thickness 0.74mm.
