A cast lead alloy object of uncertain function probably of post-medieval date (c. 1500-1600). It is circular in plan, the upper surface is decorated with seven concentric raised circles with grooves between them, and a central pellet. The grooves are currently filled with a dusty buff coloured patina. The reverse face of the object is hollow, with a raised circular rim 2 mm thick, 22 mm diameter, 6 mm within the edge of the object. It is possible the object was a lid for some receptacle.
