A complete Post-Medieval farthing trader's token dating c. 1648-1674, issued for Robert Crannis- a fellmonger or wool-seller of Mildenhall. Williamson no. 247. Obverse: woolpack within inner solid border, ROBERT CRANNIS Reverse: initials R C A in triangle within inner border, IN MEILDENHALL Farthing trade tokens were first issued in 1648 as a response to the lack of small change, with halfpenny tokens following later. They were suppressed in 1674 under Royal Authority.

A post-medieval cast copper alloy pot leg. The leg is triangular in cross section with a flat back. The foot tapers graduklatty in width and thickness to a surviving nub at the foot which is very worn, with abrasive marks visible. The leg is decorated with five prominent longituditional ribs, the central of which is the most prominent, but also the most worn. It is flanked by two further ribs on each side, which have been flattened by wear, particularly on the right hand side of the leg. Copper-alloy bar mount of medieval date (c. 1150 - 1450 AD). The mount has a convex, circular body with a rectangular projection at either end complete with copper-alloy rivets for attachment. Four parallel grooves running across the body on the front face serve as decoration. The object is dark brown in colour with patches of green copper corrosion. It is 22.38mm in length, 12.44mm at maximum width and 4.46mm at maximum thickness. It weighs 2.20g. A severely clipped penny of Henry V (1413-22) Dating to 1420-22, long cross reverse with quatrefoil at centre. Mint of York. Class G. Obverse shows forward facing crowned bust with mullet to left and lis to right. Reverse is long cross with quatrefoil at centre with three pellets in each quarter. The flan is severely clipped and no inscription exists. The coin is 13mm in diameter and weighs 0.7g.

Copper-alloy fragment of a hooked strap fitting from a sword or baldric belt of post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1700 AD). The fragment is from the upper section of the object, comprising a circular convex plate that tapers slightly at one end and extends in a circular projection for a rivet at the other end. A hook is missing from the bottom section; the broken edge is worn, suggesting an ancient break. Also missing is the separate copper-alloy sheet that would have been attached to the underside of the object. The fragment is dark brown in colour with patches of green copper corrosion.…

A copper-alloy fragment of a Roman hair pin, dating to the period AD 200-410. It consists of an oval shaft which tapers towards the break. The head is thicker and has an elongated sub-octagonal cross-section; the upper and lower edge of the head is defined by a pair of circumferential grooves. The top of the head has an incomplete possible circular loop. The example does not fit in any of Cool's Groups (1990). Length: 43.82 mm, maximum diameter of the shaft: 3.36 mm, width of the head: 4.46 mm, thickness of the head:3.36 mm, weight: 2.23 g.

Copper-alloy hooked tag of early post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1600 AD). Read Class E, Type 3. The object comprises a rectangular body with openwork design and rectangular loop, narrowing into a backwards-curving hook. The hook is D-shaped in section and now misses its tip in an abraded break. The upper face of the object is curved, while the lower face is flat. The object has a patchy brown and green patina. It is 31.64mm in length, 14.15mm in width and 1.57mm in thickness. It weighs 1.99g. A similar example recorded on the database is: NLM-CCBD2A.
