An incomplete copper-alloy military harness mount dating to the Roman period (c. AD 120-300). The mount is rectangular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section, although the underside is hollowed. The upper surface consists of two broad moulded ribs and a narrower central rib. Projecting from the centre of the underside is a circular-sectioned rivet which is probably broken and missing a disc-shaped terminal. A complete copper-alloy strap mount dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1700). The mount is heart shaped with a lozenge shaped lower terminal. The front is flat with slightly bevelled edges and the reverse is flat with two integral attachment spikes bent outwards. The mount measures 21mm long, 12mm wide and 5mm thick including the attachment spikes. It weighs 2.5 grams. An incomplete cast copper-alloy handle, probably from a piece of furniture, dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1800). The handle is C-shaped with an expanded central section with collar in the centre, and narrowed bars either side. The handle is decorated with four or five linear transverse mouldings either side of the central collar on the upper and undersides. The handle had a patchy mid-green and brown patina and measures 93mm in length, a maximum of 13mm in diameter at the centre and 7mm either side, and weighs 81.9 grams. A complete Roman copper-alloy 'vulvate' or 'coffee bean' stud dating to the 2nd or 3rd century AD. The stud possesses a broadly hexagonal plate that is slightly bent in profile. In the centre of the plate is a raised oval boss decorated with a shallow groove. The underside of the plate is flat and undecorated with an oval-shaped recess in the centre. An incomplete miniature copper-alloy object, possibly an axe dating from the Late Bronze Age to Roman period (c. 1200 BC - AD 400). The axe is wedge shaped and sub-rectangular in cross-section with one wedge shaped end and the other end rounded. One face is flat while the other is concaved. One of the long edges is damaged in the form of an irregular triangular notch. There are no signs of decoration but there are small patches of a black coating on one of the edges.
