A lead weight, probably a steelyard weight. The weight is an elongated pyramid with a truncated apex. There is pierced hole running from the apex to the base where it emerges slightly off- centre. The base ia sub- angular and slightly dished around a collar encircling the hole. The dishing suggests this was cast in an open mould, point downwards. THe collar indicates that the lead was still fairly soft when the hole was made. The weight is equivalent to approximately 2.5 ounces. Two complete post-Medieval lead weights (c.AD1600-c.1800). Both objects are largely spherical with slightly flattened ends. There is no visible casting seam although the surfaces on both are slightly roughened. Circular holes have been drilled through the centre of the objects. The objects have light greyish-brown patina. Early Medieval to Medieval Stamford ware sherd, 49mm long, 46mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 23g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has a pale cream/brown patina and finely grained fabric with small grit inclusions. Its outer surface has trace sof pale greenish translucent glaze. It forms part of the base and side of a vessel. Its underside in concave and its sides shows linear ridges internally.

A lead pot mend of unknown exact date but probably within the Roman to Post Medieval date range (c. AD 43-1700). The object has a flat sub-circular head and a recessed groove extending to a concave teardrop-shaped protrusion on the opposing face. The recess retains reddish brown clay-like remains which could be indicative of the vessel or detritus from the field of recovery. The object has a whitish-grey patina. The overall dimensions are as follows: 35.28mm in length, 29.13mm in width, 10.68mm in thickness and 40.74g in weight.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy skillet or posnet leg with a mounded bulbous transverse collar above a slightly everted foot which is designed to look like a hoof. The foot is sub-rectangular in plan, triangular in profile and plano-convex in section, with a flat back at 90 degrees to the base. The upper edge is broken where it has been severed from the rest of the leg. A lead alloy fragment of a flat cast lead-alloy figurine dating to the Post-Medieval period. The fragment is of roughly circular shape and represents the waist and thighs of a man in military dress with baggy breeches, represented by cross hatching, separated by an inverted V shape with rounded pellets at the end of each arm which may represent belt fittings. The legs are bent and broken below the breeches and the upper part of the figure has broken off at the narrowed waist. The reverse is blank. Circa 17th century.
