A late medieval copper alloy round 2.6g uniface coin weight to weigh the half angel coin dating to c.1472-1604. Round in plan being 17.6mm diameter and 1.4mm thick. The face has archangel St Michael with wings and a halo spearing a dragon. The reverse is plain and flat. The dating of the weight is likely to be nearer the beginning of the period as half angel coins were 2.6 grams when first produced but were reduced in weight by the mid 16th century.

Medieval gold stirrup-shaped finger ring with a black gemstone. The ring consists of a slender hoop with an internal diameter of 18.5mm rising to a pointed bezel set with a black cabochon stone, which appears to have been cast integrally. The hoop is d-shaped in cross-section with a flat internal face, and the triangular bezel has flat sides.
The ring measures 24.9mm externally to the tip of the bezel, and is 20.0mm wide. It weighs 3.32g.
It is very similar in form to no. 1609 in 'Dress accessories c.1150 - 1450' (2002) by Egan & Pritchard, although that example is in bronze. Ac…

A complete but worn lead alloy token of probably early post-medieval date, c. AD 1500-1800. The token is bifacial and each faces has a moulded design. On one face is a large W formed of overlapping Vs. The other face appears to have a serif I above another symbol, possibly another W or V, but this lower symbol is indistinct. A medieval copper alloy seal matrix, dating to the 14th century. The seal is circular with a hexagonal conical handle and a loop at the top. In the centre of the seal there is a cross rising from two lines within which are the letters 'ihc' for Jesus. The legend reads PRIVESV, meaning 'I am private'. The seal matrix has a dark green patina. Length 19.73mm, diameter 16.41mm and weight 6.09g.
A similar example on the database is DENO-DC076F, however the motif in the centre of the seal is different.

Two complete post-Medieval lead weights (c.AD1600-c.1800).
Both objects are largely spherical with slightly flattened ends. There is no visible casting seam although the surfaces on both are slightly roughened. Circular holes have been drilled through the centre of the objects. The objects have light greyish-brown patina.
The first weight measures 16.81mm in diameter and weighs 23.0g; its perforation measures 6.01mm. The second measures 17.7mm in diameter, weighs 26.4g and has an aperture of 5.66mm in diameter.

A Roman copper alloy Radiate of Tetricus I, dating to AD 271-274 (Reece period 13). SPES PVBLICAE reverse type, depicting Spes advancing left holding a flower and the hem of her skirt, with one leg visible. Mint I. cf. Normanby 1465.

Two complete lead shot of post-Medieval date (AD 1600-1800).
Both are cast spheres with abrasions, each slightly flattened to one side suggesting they have been fired. One is 13.01mm in diameter and weighs 14.7g whilst the other is 12.75mm in diameter and weighs 11.8g.
Other examples on the database - e.g NLM-85EED5 and NLM-3A0269 - indicate that the size of the shot suggests that they may be from a fowling piece or light pistol.
