An incomplete enamelled copper alloy Roman zoomorphic plate brooch (AD c. 100 - 200). The brooch is moulded in the form of a water fowl with closed wings. The impression of wings is created by two inwards curving grooves running the length of the centre of the bird's back. The outer face of each wing is decorated with parallel crescentic recesses representing feathers, each containing enamel, alternating blue and red. A complete lead pencil of medieval to post medieval date (c. 1200-1800). The piece tapers down to rounded point at one end, the other, thicker end is nearly circular in cross-section, with a square indentation in the top. The piece has been crudely shaped with long smooth facets running down each side, producing a roughly squared crossed section at its mid point. Length 61.2mm, Width 2.3mm - 10.2mm. Weight 26.69g.

A complete lead alloy pilgrim ampulla of costrel type, similar to DUR-694C08 and with a passing resemblance to DENO-4A4151. Ampullae were bought by pilgrims at holy sites and filled with consecrated water or oil.
The body of the ampulla is decorated with three shields in rectangular borders on either side. The neck is flanked by two right-angled lug arms with square cross-section.

A copper alloy zoomorphic terminal from an early Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch of 'Klapperschmuck' (literally 'rattle-jewellery) type. The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan, tapering gently to the break at the top. The narrower end comprises a flat panel decorated with two transverse grooves at the top, and two moulded transverse ridges at the bottom. Copper-alloy vessel fragment. Cast cauldron leg of tapered trapezoidal form, narrower at the lower end, with central longitudinal ridge on the outer sides and flat on the back. Evidence of sooting possibly from use. Parallels NLM-181092 and NLM40493 which suggest a date of medieval, 1200-1500.

A copper alloy, single loop, oval buckle with buckle plate, Meols type 2, dating from the medieval period, about AD 1250 - 1450. The buckle frame has an expanded outer edge and a recessed and offset bar. The sheet pin is looped round the bar. The plate is rectangular, longer than it is wide, with recessed corners to accomodate the frame. The back plate is narrower and shorter than the front. There are five dome headed rivets, two at each end and one in the middle of the plate. The buckle and frame are 43.1mm long, 15.5mm wide and 4.1mm thick. It weighs 4.88g.
