A complete Medieval copper-alloy zoomorphic terminal collar from a right-angled drop handle (1270-1600). This collar is fitted over the horizontal terminal end of a handle arm and is secured by burring. The collar, hollow and oval in cross-section, is flat at the inner end and is in the form of a beast's head, probably that of a dog or hound. The forward facing head has grooves delineating the eyes, nose and eyebrows. Grooves at both sides may represent hair. The handle is circular in cross-section and has a maximum diameter of 5.0mm. An incomplete and slightly distorted Medieval copper-alloy single-looped buckle (c. 1270-c. 1400). The pin is missing. This buckle frame is similar to a Meol's type 10. It has an oval shaped frame with an offset and narrowed bar, thickened and ornate at the outer edge. On the front of the outer edge there are transverse ridges as decoration.
