An incomplete copper alloy Miniature Axe Pendant of Iron Age or Roman date (800 BC - AD 410).
The miniature object is flat and in the form of an axehead. It is sub-rectangular in shape, flaring in size at the cutting edge. The cutting edge is heavily abraded resulting in the loss of some of the edge. The butt of the axe is decorated with two transverse grooved lines on both sides. There is an integral circular attachment loop projecting from the external edge, near the butt of the axe.
The metal is a mid green in colour with areas of light green corrosion.

Lead alloy miniature object. Fragment of a small cast vase or urn with floral sprays moulded on its external surfaces, plain within. A thin cordon separates a tall round bowl with vertical upper sides from an inswing, with a stepped basal expansion below it, now partly lost. Patinated overall. The floral decoration, which rarely appears on toy vessels, leaves it uncertain whether this may have been a component from a more complex setting in which it may have served as a decorative miniature architectural element of Neo-Classical form.
