A copper-alloy Roman nummus of the House of Constantine (AD 307-361), probably of Constantine I (AD 306-337), dating to the period AD 314-316 (Reece Period 15). SOLI INVIC-TO CO[MITI] reverse type depicting Sol standing left rising right hand and holding globe in left hand. Mint of London. Cf RIC VII, pp. 98-100, nos. 27passim). The coin has traces of active bronze corrosion and iron stains on the reverse.
