A complete, copper alloy, Post Medieval clasp toggle. The body of the toggle is a long, plain rectangular plate. At one end it has a narrow shank with a semi-circular (anchor shaped) toggle. At the opposite end it has a decorative terminal, consisting of an oval plate with two unequally sized piercings with a small knop on the outer edge. Immediately below the oval is a bar, which is attached to the central plate via a narrowed neck. An incomplete and eroded cast copper alloy early Roman brooch most probably a Colchester derivative Polden Hill type (AD 80-120) . The wings are complete being semi-cylindrical in plan; the flat and pierced end caps are partially eroded. The axis bar, spring and pin are lost. The spring would have been held in place by an external cord which is fixed to a now much abraded rearward facing hook positioned at the midpoint on the upper edge of the reverse. A complete, cast, copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval to post Medieval date (c1200-c1600). The buckle is a single loop and D shaped, with the rear bar slightly reduced in length. The frame is a narrow oval in cross section, deeper than it is wide. The sides of the bar taper in depth from front to rear, with the rear bar being 3.7mm thick and the outer edge 4.5mm thick. The frame is 19mm long by 31mm wide. Weight 5.3g.

A fragment of a cast, copper-alloy, belt slider of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c1200-c1600). The fragments consists of most of the central bar and part of one side, with a short length of of one of the outer ends. The original slider would have been double looped and rectangular with rounded corners in shape. The central bar and end are round in cross-section, and the wider side oval. The frgament has a green patina. Surviving length 22mm, surviving width 22mm, weight 6.1g. Diameter of central bar 3.2mm.

There are narrowed and offset strap/plate bars at either end. It is poorly cast. Measurements: Length 11.9mm, width 10.7mm, thickness 1.2mm and weight 0.4g.

Possible handaxe thinning flake, hard hammer struck and tertiary, with at least ten previous flake scars to the dorsal face: - of unpatinated dark grey/black flint with a lighter grey coarse inclusion, the edges are slightly rolled making the possible retouch difficult "read", some are bifacial and likely to be damage, the edge with the light grey inclusion appears to be steeply retouched to the dorsal face only and is less likely to be of natural origin.

An incomplete cast copper alloy button-and-loop fastener of Roman date, probably dating from the 2nd century AD. The fastener has a transverse bar for a shank unlike the more common button types, which are earlier. This corresponds with Wild's (1970) Class IX, although it may be a hybrid form, as it appears to have had a triangular attachment loop rather than circular. A complete lead-alloy spindle whorl from the Medieval period (AD1300-1500). The whorl is made up of a central bi-conical body that is decorated on both faces with a series of raised triangles and pellets. One surface has a slit mark either side of the perforation. The perforation has an internal diameter of 9.26mm and has a slightly raised collar. The surface of the whorl is worn with a powdery white patina. Thickness: 8.53mm Weight: 29.1g Diameter: 26.83mm Biconical spindle whorls of this decorated form are typically dated to the medieval period c.1100-1500.
