A complete Medieval copper-alloy bar mount (c. 1150-c. 1450). This mount has a central body, oval in plan, domed at the front and concave at the rear. A smaller domed element at each end has a pierced hole through the centre to hold a separate copper-alloy rivet. Each rivet is flush at the front and proud at the rear. At the front the central body is decorated with five transverse incised grooves which have been incised vertically to give a cross-hatched appearance. Cast copper-alloy Medieval to Post Medieval swivel strap fitting. The swivel has two separate plain oval-shaped loops with sub-oval cross section. Where the adjacent loops meet in the middle they are flattened into a broad bezel shape, at which point an integral projection from one loop passes through a hole in the second, where its end is upset to form a conical rivet, so retaining the loops and allowing them to swivel against each other. An incomplete post medieval cast copper alloy sword belt hanger dating to c.1550-1700. Approximately two thirds of the plate, length 53.5mm, width 19.8mm and thickness 1.8mm remains, along with the central suspension loop. Old breaks can be seen either side of the remaining loop where a further two loops would have been positioned. The plate has curved shaped sides and a right side trefoil terminal (the left one is missing) and incised foliate decoration on the face. A medieval silver penny of Edward II. The coin is a mule of class 11b1/11a2, Durham mint. Description: The coin is very worn and has some striking weakness in some areas. There are both rounded-backed and pointed-backed C's and E's, a crosier at the end of one arm of the reverse cross (at 12 o'clock) and a CIVI/TAS/DVN/ELM reverse legend. Measurements: Diameter 18.16mm Weight 1.06g. Discussion: The different styles of C and E indicate that this is a mule of a class 11b1 obverse with an 11a2 reverse.

Handaxe, of Wymer's (1999) type G, of sub-cordate form: - in rolled condition with worn high points to the flake ridges and recent damage to the edges, showing the original colour of the mottled grey flint, the main surfaces are now patinated orange, grey and black with occasional small voids within the flint. The remaining loop is oval and has a D-shaped section, the ouside edges expand slightly, it has a moulded floral decoration with a central fleur-de-lis. A copper alloy double looped buckle dating to c.1620-1680. The pin is missing. The frame is formed of two trapezoidal loops and has a rectangular section with a central bar. Each loop terminates in a projecting lobed knop on each outer corner. Between the two knops, the outside edge of the frame widens into a triangular projection with a horizontal groove for the pin rest.
