Handaxe, of Wymer's (1999) type G, of sub-cordate form: - in rolled condition with worn high points to the flake ridges and recent damage to the edges, showing the original colour of the mottled grey flint, the main surfaces are now patinated orange, grey and black with occasional small voids within the flint. Both lateral cutting edges, although abraded, are relatively straight (edge type e), the butt is well trimmed (butt type b) and the point appears to be without a sharpening tranchet flake removal to one edge as seen on some other examples from Norfolk beaches cf.
