An incomplete Medieval to Post -Medieval cast copper alloy cauldron foot. The surviving part of the artefact is comprised of a straight section of leg terminating at a animal paw which is sub-triangular in shape. Above the paw is a transverse collar design. The leg has a transverse break 48.0mm up from the base of the foot.The cross-section of the leg as a whole is sub-triangular. The front section section has a decorative front it is also sub-rectangular shape with rounded corners and the back is flat. At the break the leg has a width of 17.0mm and depth of 11.5mm.
