Copper alloy Roman coin, a sestertius of Marcus Aurelius (AD161-180), worn and corroded with little surviving detail. Obverse: bust, facing right. Reverse: Victory standing right inscribing [vic par] on a shield suspended from a palm tree. The inscription would have read [tr pot xx imp III cos III s c. Reece period 8, RIC 934, issue of AD 165. Diameter 29.0mm, Mass 16.15g.
