Fragment of a silver coin, cut to a lozenge shape and bent to an angle of 45 degrees. Not identifiable but some surviving marks appear to represent lettering of the style seen on Medieval coins. The fragment is worn and its edges rounded. Its funtion is unknown but it may have been part of the 'love token' phenomonon. Length 17.0mm Width 8.0mm, Thickness 0.3mm, Mass 0.29g.

Description: The bezel is oval and is set with an engraved carnelian intaglio. The device depicted on the intaglio is a female bust in profile, facing right. The bust has their hair tied up loosely with a bow and a lock of hair falls across her shoulder onto her chest. She is wearing drapery which is low-cut. The glass intaglio is an orange colour.

Copper alloy Roman brooch of Polden Hill type, first century AD, bow decorated with four longitudinal ribs, each marked with finely incised, oblique lines.These are flanked by narrow webs which run down each side of the brooch. The underside of the wings on the brooch's head is hollow to accomodate the coiled spring, now missing. Roman copper-alloy 'vulvate' or 'coffee bean' mount dating to circa AD 150 - 300. The mount comprises a plate with worn edges, presumably this may have been a hexagonal plate as seen on parallels noted below. Protruding from the outer face, and off-centre is a raised oval boss decorated with a linear groove. On the plate at one end of the boss there are two low-relief notches which are perhaps decoration. On the reverse of the mount there are two circular-section lugs both of which are slightly flattened at the terminal. The body of the mount is hollow.
